About Marco & Bee
Marco & Bee was founded to address the continuing concerns organisations have in how to connect their products and services to their Customers through Design. With a core focus on Design thinking, experience and service design, and the design research that helps to influence design direction, Marco & Bee is able to bring to bear a breadth and depth of understanding of the Design process.
Additionally, in more recent years, as organisations undertake programs of transformation, trying to understand how the design process impacts – and is impacted by – reorienting your organisation, delivering in a more agile way, iterating rapidly and involving your Customers more throughout the process, we have a significant amount of experience to bring to the table in making this a more successful effort.
We work with small start-ups to large enterprise organisations and can provide a range of training, consultancy, design leadership and hands-on capabilities to suit your requirements.
Brian Hoadley has over twenty years of experience in digital and technology, with a specialism in Experience Design and Creative Design leadership. He has a deep understanding of the importance of bridging the gap between Customers, technology, content and products.
An American by birth, he worked for 14 years in the U.S. (New York and Boston), starting as a Telecomms Engineer, and began working for a digital technology start-up in 1994. He moved to the U.K. in 2001 where for the last 15 years he’s worked in digital agencies, mobile start-ups, consultancies and organisations in senior, founder and consultative design leader roles.
In 2004 he founded award winning Experience Design agency phunQube in London, providing a mix of User Experience, Service Design and Research capabilities. Since 2009 he has worked with small and big data initiatives, co-founded mobile start-ups, acted as Advisor and Non-Executive Director to digital start-ups, and consulted for organisations ranging from early-stage funded start-ups to global technology, media and financial services companies.
Experience Design is his passion, and he expresses this passion best through digital design capabilities. He is a confident and experienced Design leader who is comfortable presenting to venture capitalists, founders, senior leaders and board members.
